“ My family and I stopped by after a day trip to Misquamicut and the area. The entire exterior decor and interior design is very inviting. The hostess and waitstaff were courteous and pleasant. Their menu is WOW. It may be appear limited but I assure you those menu items are curated, eclectic, and palate pleasing. We ordered the hummus, pork belly rice bowl, pistachio vinegarette dressed side salad, the short rib taco special, and shareable fries. Everything was perfect. Fried are properly twice cooked, hummus was fresh made, the pork belly crispy and seasoned. The kids ate smashed burger and cheese tacos. That beet BBQ sauce is to die for. I cannot wait to return, I already know what I'm ordering. I live over an hour away and will absolutely drive here to patronize this business. Thank you Cinder for your presence. ”

I saw the great reviews and decided to give it a chance. It definitely was exciting once we started eating. The tacos were the perfect balance of flavors and textures. They were messy but worth it. The service is impeccable, the atmosphere is perfect, and the food is better than you could imagine. I'd recommend any of the items we tried this time around, especially the super refreshing half ginger pineapple juice & half herbal tea drink. The bahn mi naan tacos, beans & greens, and French fries are all worth trying, too. You'll be glad you try any of their dishes! ”
“ The service was excellent from the second I stepped through the door. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with the menu. The atmosphere is top notch. It was a beautiful Friday in June and they had shaded outdoor seating overlooking the river, just gorgeous. The food was incredible as well. I got the corn and poblano chowder to start and I want to make a meal out of just that next time! The taste was rich and smoky, it was full of veggies, and it all tasted so fresh. I also got the crunchy cheesey tacos and they were incredible! Messy to eat and just a touch spicy, these were a real treat. ”
“ We ordered the tri-curry grits, fried rice with short ribs and baby back ribs. It was beyond delicious. Great smoked flavors on BBQ, perfect spice level on curry. Drinks (blood orange margaritas) were also delicious. My only regret is that we live too far from the restaurant to make it our regular spot! Will definitely go back when visiting from out of town. ”
“ Our first visit , located on the river plenty of outdoor seating for dining al fresco ., we shared the root vegetable salad with fried goat cheese, the dressing was divine the salad so satisfying!! My friend had the Thai curry grits , portion was enough for 2 meals , perfect amount of heat it’s was delicious. I had the brisket taco & the corn & poblano chowder, amazingly good ! We ended our lunch with their Boozy Beef cake- a beef tallow flourless chocolate cake made with rum, bailey’s & liquors topped with a bourbon caramel sauce with flake salt !!! the entire experience and each dish we stand up and applaud the server, chef and owner !! If you are in westerly be sure to stop in to Cinder ”
“ This was our first visit and we will be back. The setting is amazing right on our water, the fire was very Smokey but it made a fun atmosphere. It took a bit of time to get drinks and food and it came out in waves rather than for our full group but they seem to be training so it won’t stop us from coming back. Food was delish and I look forward to going again. ”
“ I couldn't decide among 3 great restaurants in Westerly and chose Cinder to celebrate my birthday with my family of 5. So glad I did! The server was lovely & efficient, I wanted everything on the menu and went with the curry, it was amazing! We also had smash burger tacos, brisket tacos, fries, spicy and orange margs, wine, chocolate cake and cappuccinos. No disappointments at our table! The vibe was great, from lighting, music and noise level. We enjoyed quiet conversations, even in the small space. We all highly recommend!! ”
